Charity Run

Iain Lindsay, British Ambassador to Hungary lead the charity running team of the Hungarian Interchurch Aid in the last two years at NN Ultrabalaton. Because of the coronavirus the organizers postponed the date of the event to the Autumn of 2020, but unfortunately, Iain Lindsay will leave Budapest by October. Although, Ambassador Lindsay cannot accomplish the race at Lake Balaton, he decided to undertake the charity part

Families and many children has to face difficult times because of the economic impacts of the coronavirus. The Hungarian Interchurch Aid has been helping more than 2000 children throughout the country and HIA’s mission is to keep helping when it is needed more than ever.”

Iain Lindsay in his Hungarian language call has addressed many enthusiastic runners as public figures and celebrities who he met in his years of living in Budapest. The Ambassador has asked them to help to spread the news about his call so many can hear about it before Children’s Day.
